Well, the news we've all been waiting for: Lucy's back in a brand new adventure, and boy is it good to be able to say that! This is the first episode of the long-announced "In Between Days" story; it's great to be working on it at last!
The schedule will be a bit odd for a short while. The next episode (2) will debut some time before the middle of september, and then the third will be back on the usual schedule at the start of August. If you're a previous subscriber but you haven't been notified of how you can re-subscribe at the lower rebilling-only rate, please email me for details, including your username/usercode- this will allow you to avoid paying the initial high payment of a regular subscriber.
I've made a few minor changes to the website, the largest being I've removed the message board- largely because nobody used it and several people had told me that the site looked "dead" as a result. The rest is things like change the Subscribers' Area headers to CSS instead of gifs, which makes maintenance easier and they'll load a bit faster on slow connections.
Finally, I'd like to thank all those who sent such supportive and kind emails! They were much appreciated and, shucks, it was nice to know that my 'umble scrawlings are appreciated. Thanks again guys!
So anyway, after the summer hiatus, Lucy is back and, fingers crossed, this time she's back for good! I've (at least partially :) sorted out the problems earlier in the year that caused the break in production. For those of you who were reading Lucy before the break, I hope you'll join me once again; for those of you who are new to Lucy, I hope you'll join me and, well, welcome aboard!

Apparently under pressure from increasingly belligerent corporation Visa, our credit card transaction processors Verotel have been obligated to divide, like sheep and goats, their client websites into "small" and "large". As I am apparently in the small category, I am now part of a new branded identity called Verotel Ticketsclub and there's not really anything I can do about it. I'm not well pleased, as I think personally that the Ticketsclub brand is rather naff; on the other hand it means that we're still trading, and "under the hood" everything is as it was; only the branding has changed. Please note that if you're thinking of signing up with this site (please :) you can be assured that despite the name, "Tickets Club" is not any sort of club or AVS program. It's simply a new name on the same old process of paying to access the Members' Area of a website. Your subscription is still with this site, and you aren't being tricked into joining anything else. If you have any questions regarding, or problems with, this process, please email me.
Unless you're one of the unlucky ones trying to trade on the internet, you're probably unaware of how difficult things have been getting of late, as the vultures gather to dine on the corpses of the small adult websites such as this one. Visa seem determined to drive us, one way or another, out of business, by arbitrarily introducing ever stricter and more ludicrous regulations, which are more compulsory than any law. This probably isn't even legal, but nobody has the power to take such a corporate bully to court. On the internet, with cash unavailable for use, credit cards are an essential part of trading, and thus small businesses such as this one are completely in the hands of, and at the whim of, corporations like Visa. Laws are a good, necessary part of any free society, and are created under the safeguard that their creators are elected individuals who can be removed by an unhappy electorate. To have the entire Internet community obligated to the whims of corporate executives who are answerable to nobody cannot be a good thing.
I would urge anyone who cares about their right to view whatever legal material they wish to attempt wherever possible to pay for goods and serviecs on the net using means other than Visa; other credit cards, Paypal, and so on. Visa's monopolistic power on the Internet makes Microsoft look like very small potatoes indeed.

A very proud day for me today, Jane's Guide have rated this humble little site as "Quality" and "Original" and considered Lucy's adventures good enough to rate them as a Vamp's Pick! "Vamp" is this quality site's newest reviewer, who has, quote, a kink for brainy, unusual fare. I'm personally chuffed, thanks people at Jane's Guide! I'd better add here that this isn't one of those sites where one can pay for a good review! I really wasn't expecting this, and it has lifted my spirits no end!

Working very hard currently on episode 20; just time to mention that there's now a small gallery of new augmented ladies pictures by yours truly at www.powerweapons.com, where they specialise in that kind of thing :)
Episode 20 is a bit of a change of pace for Lucy; I've given her a refreshing change of look, and am working on a more "painted" feel to the strip. And since we've come to a convenient pause in the ongoing story arc, Ep 20 will serve up something rather lighter in tone. It would be a shame to give too much away now; suffice to say that after all the doom and gloom, I decided it really was time that Lucy got a thoroughly satisfying shag without getting interrupted by exploding stars (or indeed people) or the like, for a change. It's pretty filthy to be honest :) It'll be landing on this here website very early in August and I 'umbly suggest it may be the best episode yet :D
Righty ho, back to the old drawing board...

Well, the big news today is that this brand new website is up and running! It's been one heck of a job getting the thing together; web design isn't my strong suit, and what with that, and organising everything else, while still busy scribbling another episode of Lucy Lastique... suffice to say I'm glad we're finally here at the starting line. Phew. Now all I can do is sit here feeling kind of nervous and pray I've done this thing right enough that somebody will feel the urge to subscribe...
