Our mission: to create comic strip artworks which are truly adult, comprising a unique combination of sexually explicit graphics and situations and complex, intelligent storylines and scripts, populated by engaging, well-formed characters with real motivations and personalities.
We believe that there are many who like us are disatisfied by the cardboard-cutout characters, the cliches, and the misogyny that permeate and ruin the majority of "adult" media and are eager for something more fulfilling that is neither debasing to all concerned nor limp, embarrassed erotica; this is the gap we aim to plug.
We hope our readers will come to appreciate and love the difference as they immerse themselves in the complex created universe of our first such saga, Lucy Lastique, and encounter a satisfying, memorable reading experience quite distinct from the transient pleasures of the dime-a-dozen "pornotoons".

The artist subsequently known as Jaxtraw emerged from the womb in February 1966, in the town of Kettering, England. Despite receiving virtually no formal training in drawing or painting, he spent the next three decades indefatigably honing his ability to draw increasing unfeasibly proportioned nudes. The persona of ill repute known as "Jaxtraw" sprung spontaneously into existence in the autumn of 1999 with the posting of an initial spate of erotic cartoons to a usenet cartoon binaries group, the name being a play on that of the UK's proscriptive Home Secretary of the time. In response to positive feedback to his art, Jaxtraw became active in that anarchic netherworld of the internet, and continues to be, posting his art for free in usenet's healthily communitaire atmosphere. During 2001, commercial interest in Jaxtraw's work lead him to set up Jaxtraw Studios and, in collaboration with colorist Jo Kemp, to lauch Jaxtraw Studios' first comic strip product, "Lucy Lastique". Since then, he has spent the vast majority of his waking hours either directly or indirectly involved in the chronicling of Lucy's adventures, and managed to divest himself of the last few tattered shreds of what may have once constituted a "life". He currently lives in London with Cassandra the Company Cat, and has actually started looking forward to the occasional doorstep debates with religious maniacs. |

The origins of Cassandra, or Cassie for short, are unknown; we do know, however, that she was found wandering the streets of North London by the good people of Animal Aid And Advice, who looked after her until a suitable erotic cartoon studio could be found in which to rehome her. She was born some time early in the year 2001, and her interests include hunting moths and eating ham. She currently lives in a state of pampered bliss. |
